This is a written pattern for the Alba Cardigan <3

The Alba Cardigan is a cute and warm cardigan perfect for the cold days.

The cardigan consists of two front pieces and a back piece that are assembled. Afterwards, the sleeves are crocheted in the round, directly to the body of the cardigan. Finally, pieces for buttons and buttonholes are crocheted, along with a collar around the neckline.

These measurements refer to the width of the cardigan when laid flat. The cardigan is designed to fit snugly to the body. If none of these sizes fit you, I recommend following size 4 but using a larger crochet hook. I suggest this because the cardigan uses a lot of yarn and therefore becomes incredibly heavy.

• Mayflower Easy Care Big Merino Wool
  • • 1 - 50g. red, 100g. purple, 350g. black, 350g. white.
    • (2) - 50g. red, 100g. purple, 400g. black, 400g. white.
    • 3 - 50g. red, 100g. purple 550g. black, 550g. white.
    • (4) - 100g. red, 100g. purple 600g. black, 600g. white.
• Crochet hook size 5.00 mm
• Buttons

Crochet Gauge

10 x 10 cm = 15 double crochet stitches in width and 9 rows in height. 

If you get more stitches and rows in 10 x 10 cm, you should switch to a thicker crochet hook. 

If you get fewer stitches and rows in 10 x 10 cm, you should switch to a thinner crochet hook.
